NuffLove Apparel is on a mission to spread a positive message to its customers with its clothing, as love conquers all

NuffLove Apparel is a Toronto-based, family-owned and Black-owned business that focuses on delivering comfortable quality unisex athleisure.

Shola Ogunbitan and his wife Shaeda Ogunbitan are the co-founders and CEO of NuffLove. They created the brand together to promote self-love and empathy toward others. They want to spread a positive message to their customers in hopes they will feel more confident, bold and empowered.

NuffLove uses recyclable materials and is 100% sustainable and organic in fashion. Their latest premium line dabbles in chalky pastel colours of teal, yellow and brown, offered in different styles best suited for your comfort.

This line comes with a collection of sweatpants, shorts, sweaters, and T-shirts. They also feature their original line but with additional zip-up hoodies offered in black, white, grey, red and navy blue colours.

“One issue we had was that we lost our designer mid-point when coming out with previous designs, so we had to start over from scratch,” said co-founder and CEO Shola Ogunbitan.

“Luckily, we were able to hire a new designer in due time and work on our new line and rebranded logo.”

Shola Ogunbitan is both co-founder and CEO of NuffLove Apparel and a rapper known by his stage name Shola Og. He grew up in Malton, a small area called 34-30 where he learned a lot about love and loyalty, a testament to his brand.

He has an extensive background in the entertainment industry after having done many events and been on tours working with other artists. He has gotten into fashion through the artistry scene and has been passionate about it ever since.

In a world where negativity and hate exists, it can be difficult to find the good in humanity. Often many of us begin to lose sight of that. NuffLove recognizes this and believes in the importance of spreading love for ourselves and others, reminding us of the good that still exists.

“I began wearing these shirts for myself, then it became a conversation starter with people asking about it. That’s when the journey of NuffLove began,” said Shola.

No matter who you are or where you come from, everybody needs love. Regardless of your background, we all stand the same. NuffLove not only represents the voices that are heard, but they represent the voices that go unheard as well.

“Our brand is for those who recognize that and for those who don’t. We all need a little love in our lives and that’s what this is for,” says Shola.

“We represent and advocate for marginalized communities especially, giving them a safe space to feel heard.”

They hope to do more than just spread their message. They hope to see people live their truth and give back to the community that has aided them well.

“Our goal is not only to sell clothing but to live our message and impact our communities around us through acts of love. One way we show love is through gifts in kind & monetary donations,” according to NuffLove’s mission statement.

“We strongly believe that it is important to be the change that we want to see, so we ensure a portion of our profits are donated to different outreach programs to help with their work in the communities they serve.”

As NuffLove continues its journey into fashion, they are confident they can impact others with their work, preaching its message and ultimately spreading positive fashion.
